Brassia verrucosa is a prolific bloomer and easy to grow. It is native to Central American where it festoons trees in the mid-altitude mountain highlands. Flowers are approximately 3" tall, the quietest light green color flecked with dark red patterns, and a cream-white lip. An intermediate grower, but cold tolerant. It is delicately fragrant, blooming from June - July. The species ranges from Mexico to Northern Nicaragua.
